Tiverton Felony Possession

Criminal Charges:

Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and DUI .08-.10

Police Report: 

Officers of the Tiverton Police Department observed a vehicle to be speeding and swerving out of the lane of travel multiple times on Route 24. Upon contact, Client was observed to have bloodshot and glossy eyes, and the odor of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from the vehicle. Officers conducted standardized field sobriety tests which determined Client was impaired and unsafe to operate a motor vehicle. Upon conducting a search of Client’s person, officers located a plastic bag containing a white powdery substance, suspected to be cocaine, in his left pant. pocket. Client claimed responsibility for the substance and stated he picked it up off of the floor of the bar he was at earlier in the night.

Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance: DISMISSED AND EXPUNGED OFF RECORD

DUI .08-.10: REDUCED TO RECKLESS DRIVING W/ NO LOSS OF LICENSE
