Multiple Domestic Charges in Newport RI

Police Report: 

Newport Police receive a 911 call from a neighbor of Client/spouse’s home.  Police arrive and find spouse crying and upset.  Police separate Client and spouse to get their stories.  Spouse tells police there was an argument over money and that Client was drunk.  Further, that during the argument Client grabbed spouse’s phone and broke it on the floor.  Police observe Client to have a strong odor of alcohol and slurred speech.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY-DOMESTIC:  DISMISSED AND EXPUNGED OFF RECORD

DISORDERLY CONDUCT-DOMESTIC:  DISMISSED AND EXPUNGED OFF RECORD

MALICIOUS DAMAGE TO PROPERTY:  DISMISSED AND EXPUNGED OFF RECORD
