Driving Under the Influence of Drugs, Felony Possession of Oxycodone

Police Report: Newport Police respond to an accident and observe Client sitting in the driver’s seat of one of the involved vehicles. Police observe Client to be sleeping. When police wake Client, they immediately observe him to have bloodshot and watery eyes and mumbled speech. Client takes and fails three (3) field sobriety tests. Upon arresting Client, and searching his pockets they find a plastic baggy with two (2) pills later tested positive for Oxycodone.

Criminal Case Result:
  • DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: REDUCED TO RECKLESS DRIVING WITH NO LOSS OF LICENSE
  • POSSESSION OF OXYCODONE: DISMISSED AND EXPUNGED OFF RECORD
