1. Criminal Charges: Driving Under the Influence of Fentanyl

Police Report: Portsmouth PD receive a 911 call from a driver/witness traveling behind Client’s car who describes Client’s car as swerving into on-coming traffic numerous times. Police catch up to Client and pulls him over. Police observe Client to be unsteady on his feet, slurred speech and a mild odor of alcohol. Client takes and fails 3 field sobriety tests, but only blows a .031 on the preliminary breath test. Suspecting Client is operating under the influence of drugs they take him to the hospital for a blood draw. Testing of the blood shows Fentanyl.
