Criminal Charges: Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana

Police Report:

Newport Police conduct a large sting operation regarding the delivery of marijuana into the city. Police arrest a confidential informant who gives police access to his/her phone and that person’s Snapchat account. Police then impersonate the informant and set up a drug deal with Client. Client then delivers 10 pounds of marijuana to the location predetermined by Newport Police and is arrested. Client then gives a statement admitting he was in the business of selling marijuana.
