Criminal Charges: Driving Under the Influence of Drugs

Police Report:

North Kingstown Police receive a 911 call of an erratic driver.  Police search for and find Client driving his vehicle approaching the Jamestown Bridge.  NK Police eventually stop Client in Jamestown.  Upon speaking with Client, police observe him to be lethargic and “sleepy”, although they smell no odor of alcohol.  Clients eyes are dilated and bloodshot, and he takes and fails 3 field-sobriety tests.  Client is arrested and brought hospital for a blood test, to which he consents.  The results come back with only his prescribed drugs in his system.
