Criminal Charges: Driving Under the Influence

Police Report:

Middletown Police observe Client speeding on West Main Road. Once behind Client’s vehicle they observe multiple lane roadway violations, with Client’s car weaving into the on-coming lanes of travel.  Police stop Client and are “immediately struck” by the strong odor of alcohol on Client’s breath.  Client’s speech is slurred and mumbled and she admits to drinking multiple drinks at a restaurant in Newport.  Client takes and fails 3 field-sobriety tests.  At the station, Client takes the Breathalyzer with results of .133 and .131.
