Rhode Island Teenager Charged With Assault And Disorderly Conduct

A teenage boy in North Kingstown was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct in connection to a violent episode that was recorded on a witness’s cell phone. He had his case dismissed and charges dropped after pleading not guilty. Read more below…

Patrol officer Brian E. Kanaczet’s report describes the video: “The suspect is observed overpowering Moid, and then punching him repeatedly in the head and face. Moid is observed pleading for the suspect to stop and does not appear to be fighting back. At the time of my investigation, Moid had noticeable bruising to his face and back area. Moid also complained of headaches and internal injuries that caused him to vomit blood after the assault.”
